Education Programs

Welcome to the fast action world of off road bikes. Motocross riding, racing and freestyle is huge in the UK at the moment. You only have to pick up a bike magazine and the chances are that you will find Motocross coverage in it. Learning through doing is an integral element of all MT3 MX practical activities.

MT3 MX believes that giving people opportunities to develop their life skills is a key element in moving towards a healthier, happier and more confident lifestyle.

THE AIMS OF MT3 MX
The aims of  MT3 MX – which is a mobile off road bike project - is to provide a safe and controlled environment for young people to learn and develop new skills:

  • Motorcycle maintenance
  • Motorcycle riding

Engaging with young people in the community helping them develop their skills encourages long term change.

THE ACTIVITIES OFFERED BY THE PROJECT
In addition to learning bike mechanical maintenance and riding techniques within an accredited training programme, the physical activity involved in taking part in regular MT3 MX sessions within the natural environment has been proven as an effective method to stimulate learning.
